Sad Sack or Dress...you decide

Here's my finished dress (sorry about the poor picture quality)...it took all of a Sunday afternoon to make, and boy can you tell.  I don't know how to alter patterns and I did my best at fixing it after it was finished, but still, it was huge.  It was like a sack on me and wasn't flattering in the least, but I wore it and I wore it proud, cuz I made it.


I used McCall's M5519.  

I'm definitely going to learn how to alter patterns and clothes this year.

    I would have put a cute little belt but it looks really nice. I bought some patterns not to long ago and summer is coming that I want to make all my dresses.
