Home Grown Goodness

Yep, we grew it - all of it, well except for the tomatoes because they aren't in season.  Other than that, it all came from our home garden or from our urban farm.  Speaking of our urban farm things are moving along and we are hoping to have things ready for market in just a few months.  We sent some broccoli up to the Ahwatukee Farmer's Market this past weekend and sold out!  Yippee!  More to come on the progess.....
And he ate it!!  (He helped grow it too.)

Sad Sack or decide

Here's my finished dress (sorry about the poor picture quality) took all of a Sunday afternoon to make, and boy can you tell.  I don't know how to alter patterns and I did my best at fixing it after it was finished, but still, it was huge.  It was like a sack on me and wasn't flattering in the least, but I wore it and I wore it proud, cuz I made it.

I used McCall's M5519.

I'm definitely going to learn how to alter patterns and clothes this year.

Fresh from our farm....the broccoli that is.

My next project

I was working on this in line waiting to get into the memorial in Tucson, but I had to abandon it in order to get in! Anyhow, I'm going to start over...I'll post pics when I'm finished.
